Indian Army Tweets Video on Accomplishments of its Female Personnel

Every year, on 8 March, the world observes International Women's Day, a significant occasion that celebrates the countless achievements and contributions made by women globally. This day is marked by people taking to social media to share their thoughts and posts, ranging from sending wishes to discussing the women who inspire them the most.

Recently, the Indian Army tweeted a video that showcases the remarkable accomplishments of its female personnel, prompting a comment from Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The post, which features the message ‘Fierce mind, brave spirit’, and comes with the hashtags of #InternationalWomensDay, #NariShakti, and #IndianArmy, has gained massive attention and has accumulated nearly 1.8 lakh views since it was posted. It has also received over a 1,000 likes, and people have been leaving various comments and re-tweeting the clip.

After reposting the video, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh praised the women serving in the Indian Armed Forces, highlighting their deployment on the world's highest battlefield in Siachen and various fields, including warships. A Twitter user shared how the armed forces have inspired them to be their best, and another posted a poem about being a phenomenal woman.
