A Two-day ‘Know Your Army’ Exhibition at Nashik
An exhibition showcasing a range of weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army is set to take place in Nashik city, Maharashtra.
The event will be inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on 18 March. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is also expected to attend the opening ceremony. The two-day exhibition, titled ‘Know Your Army’, will feature a variety of equipment including the 105 Indian Field Gun/Light Field Gun system, 155 MM Bofors, 120 MM Mortar, 130 mm M-46 Soltam, and 155 MM Dhanush. Lieutenant Colonel S.K. Panda of the Artillery Centre in Nashik revealed these details at a press conference on Thursday. A total of 19 big and small pieces of equipment will be on display at the exhibition, which will conclude with a ceremony attended by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on 19 March.
