Navy Chief Skips Valedictory Conference due to Covid-19

According to sources, Admiral R. Hari Kumar, the Chief of Naval Staff, was unable to attend the valedictory session of the Combined Commanders' Conference in Bhopal on Saturday due to a positive Covid-19 test result.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was present at the conference. Admiral Kumar, who had attended the conference on Thursday and Friday, is reportedly asymptomatic and recovering well. The biennial conference is attended by senior officials from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The Navy Chief has returned to Delhi.
