1930 – The Indian National Congress declares 26 January as Independence Day or as the day for Poorna Swaraj (" Complete Independence ") which occurred 17 years later.
On this day, the Indian Constitution was officially implemented, granting Indian citizens the right to freedom and equality. The Indian Armed Forces play a crucial role in upholding and protecting these rights, as well as preserving the integrity and stability of the country.
