CL-20

CL-20 is hailed as one of the most explosive non-nuclear substances on Earth. In comparison to commonly used explosives like RDX and HMX, CL-20 boasts a higher energy output, making it an intriguing prospect for military applications. It was first synthesised in 1987. It was named after the base at China Lake, in California, where it was first synthesised.
