Also known as the Second Chimurenga or the Zimbabwe War of Liberation, this guerrilla conflict between the Zimbabwe African National Liberation Army (ZANLA) and the Rhodesian government ended white minority rule and established Zimbabwe, marking the end of formal colonialism in Africa.
