The Colombian Conflict

Beginning in the mid-20th century, this conflict involved the Colombian government, paramilitary groups, crime syndicates, and leftist guerrillas like the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia). Although a peace agreement was reached with the FARC in 2016, violence and instability continue in some regions of Colombia.
